ALERT: Emergency Waterway Closure In Tangipahoa Parish

Dawson Primes, Director of Tangipahoa Parish Homeland Security and Emergency Management, proclaims closure to recreational traffic to all waterways. The effects of rising water and continuous easterly wind in the southern end of Tangipahoa Parish and as a result of the ongoing severe weather and torrential rain has the potential to cause flooding of structures and damage to property.
