Averett Road will be closed Friday, September 7

LORANGER—Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller announced today that Averett Road will be closed today, Sept. 7, for road construction.

Miller said Averett Road will be closed from its intersection with LA 40 and continuing one mile south for road overlay. Construction will be completed during the hours of 8 a.m. until 2 p.m., weather permitting. 

During this construction period, traffic will be allowed through, but motorists can expect delays.
