Boil Advisory Lifted - Eastern Heights

AMITE—Eastern Heights Water Works has lifted a boil water advisory for customers serviced by their Amite well.

Earlier this week, district officials reported a break in the water main off Cooper Road. Crews were able to make repairs, and samples were tested to guarantee the water is now safe to drink.

The boil advisory is rescinded effective today, Friday, Oct. 1, officials said.
