Cross Drain Replacement Projects Planned This Tuesday & Wednesday In Ponchatoula Area

PONCHATOULA—Tangipahoa Parish Road and Bridge crews will be completing two cross drain projects in the Ponchatoula area this week.

Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said crews will be working on Schum Lane on Tuesday, Dec. 1, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. to replace a failing cross drain.

On Wednesday, Dec. 2, crews will be replacing a culvert on Campbell Lane in Ponchatoula. The project is expected to begin at 8 a.m. and continue until noon that day.

Miller said both roadways will be closed to all vehicular traffic during the construction project. Detours will be posted, Miller said.
