Notice to Woodhaven Residents
WOODHAVEN—Woodhaven residents will not be able to enter and exit their neighborhood via LA 1064 today as DOTD crews work on two major road projects in that area.
Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller announced this morning that DOTD is changing out a culvert today on LA 1064 on the east side of the Woodhaven neighborhood. In addition to the culvert work, DOTD is also working on the 1064 bridge to the west of the Woodhaven area, making that portion of the highway inaccessible for residents in the community located west of Natalbany.
Miller said DOTD is indicating the roadway will be closed in the Woodhaven area until approximately 5:30 p.m. this evening (Thursday, Sept. 26). He encouraged residents to use an alternate route if they need to travel in and out of the Woodhaven area today.
