Main Takeaways:

  • Two rounds of showers and thunderstorms next week.  First round Sunday into Monday and second round on Wednesday.  No significant impacts currently expected.  
  • Drought conditions have worsened slightly across Southeast Louisiana.  Should ease a bit with forecasted rainfall next week. 
  • Spring rise on the Mississippi River is occurring.  Minor flooding expected at Red River Landing gauge.  No significant impacts. >
