BAPTIST—While the sun is shining, road crews are working to catch up on a series of projects that have been delayed due to rain.
Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said Phase 22 road overlay projects and the RPC infrastructure work has been delayed by heavy rains experienced across the parish over the last several weeks.
As weather permits this week, RPC contractors will focus on the Rufus Bankston overlay project.
Phase 22 overlay crews will continue to address milling and patching on Cannino Road, Mayeaux, Crapanzano Road, Greco Road, East Merry Street, Blaire Boulevard, and Nicholas Circle. Weather permitting, dressing work is scheduled on North Rateau Road, Lanier Road, 11th Street, Rue Monet, Beckendorf, Forest Lane, Celia Street, North Lee Hughes Road, Bradley Court Subdivision, Rohner Road, Morris Retreat Road, and Dummyline Road.
For more information on local road conditions and closure notices, consult the Tangipahoa Parish Government website (www.Tangipahoa.org) and the TPG social media channels.
