Rent & Utility Assistance Available In Tangipahoa Parish

If you reside in Tangipahoa Parish and are unable to pay your rent or utilities this month, you can contact Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Baton Rouge at 225-336-8700 no later than October 22, 2021, to find out if you are eligible for assistance. 

***This assistance is available for a limited time.***

For rental assistance:

• You cannot have an eviction notice
• We cannot pay late fees or eviction costs
• You may be eligible for up to one month’s rent

For utilities:

• Your utilities cannot be cut off
• We cannot pay late fees or other fees, related to outside of the house (ex: security light, etc)
• You may be eligible for up to one month of usage
