Road Closures - Drain Work, March 4-8

AMITE—Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller announced this morning that the Parish Road and Bridge Department will be changing out a series of cross drains in high-traffic areas next week.

Miller said that due to the nature of the work, impacted roadways will be closed at the culvert sites from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m., weather permitting.

The schedule for the week of March 4-8 is as follows:

Wednesday, March 6: Crews will be working on Esterbrook Road between Teel Road and Weinberger. Impacted sites are located south of the intersection with Teel Road at .43, .55, and .84 mile markers.

Thursday, March 7: Crews will be working on Raiford Road from S. Bunker Hill Road to Traino Road. Closure points will be from the 1 mile marker, the 1.07 mile marker, and at the intersection of Traino Road.

Friday, March 8: Crews will be working on Chandler Place between Charleton Drive and Jacob Place. Closure points will be at the .05, .12, and .23 mile markers.
