HAMMOND—Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller announced today that a portion of Old Covington Highway will be closed this morning due to a gas leak.

Miller said Atmos will close Old Covington Highway at a point approximately 300 feet west of its intersection with Pleasant Ridge Road starting at 9 a.m. this morning (Friday, March 13). The roadway will remain closed until needed repairs can be made, and motorists are urged to use alternate routes.
