Road Work Update For Monday June 21 - Tuesday June 22, 2021

LORANGER—Intermittent and alternating lane closures are scheduled Monday and Tuesday on a portion of LA 443 between LA 1064 and River Road. 

Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said DOTD plans to perform asphalt paving operations in that area on Monday, June 21, and Tuesday, June 22, weather permitting.

Miller reminds motorists that delays are expected. If possible, choose an alternate route.

Parish overlay crews are also planning a busy week. Local road construction projects scheduled for June 21-25 include:

*Asphalt overlay on Arena, Brumfield, North Oak, Lafitte, Ruth, Caroline, E. Hoover, Harvey, Midway, and Buckles Lane;

*Asphalt patching on F Lea, G Lea, North Oak, Lafitte, E. Hoover, Ruth, Harvey, Caroline, Brumfield, B Sanders, Doty, and Wyndotte;

*Milling on Old Genessee, Wilson, Ruffino, and Steptoe; 

*Cement work onHoultonwood, Glen Alford, J Rowden, Voight, St. Alexander, and Airline;

*Shoulder work on Schum, R Harper, Morgan Howes, Wheat Crest, Osceola, and Phoenix Square.

All work is weather-permitting, Miller said. Signs will be posted on the day of construction, and Miller reminds motorists to use alternate routes, where possible, due to traffic delays during the construction period.
