PONCHATOULA—Overlay crews will be working on Sibley Road off N. Thibodeaux Road this coming week.

Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said the roadwork was previously postponed due to Hurricane Ida. Crews plan to overlay the roadway on Monday, Sept. 27, through Wednesday, Sept. 29, weather permitting.

Under this revised schedule, the roadway will not be closed during the overlay process. Instead, crews will pave one lane at a time to better accommodate residents.

Signs will be posted on the day of construction, and Miller reminds motorists to use alternate routes, where possible, due to traffic delays during the construction period.
