PONCHATOULA—The intersection of US 51 and East Hoffman Road will be closed for six hours on Thursday, Jan. 14, as crews replace a cross drain at that location.

Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said crews will need to close East Hoffman at its intersection with US 51 to replace the failing cross drain. Traffic will be restricted in that area from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.; however, motorists will be able to detour through the other end of East Hoffman, if they need access in that general area.

All work is scheduled on a weather permitting basis, Miller said.
