HAMMOND—Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller announced today that a portion of Patti Road will be closed during the workday for several days as crews install a new sewer main, starting later this week.

Miller said Greenbriar Digging Service will be working with the Tangipahoa Parish Sewer District to install a new sewer main on the west side of Patti Road between Iverstine Lane and University Boulevard. Work will begin this Thursday, Sept. 10, and continue through next Friday, Sept. 18, between the hours of 8:15 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. daily, weather permitting.

Miller said the contractor will post barricades and detour information throughout the closure period.
