Road Work Update Week of July 27, 2020

AMITE—Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said overlay work will move into high gear next week as nine roads are scheduled to be paved by the parish contractor, weather permitting.

Miller said the parish contractor has the following work scheduled:

*On Monday, July 27, crews will pave Kelly, Barnes, School Section Road, 3rd Street, N. 7th Street, Barringer Drive, and Pleasant Ridge Extension. Soil cement work is scheduled on Willow, E.A. Hoover, Oak Robert Blow, and Courtney Earl while S. Thibodeaux and Hoffman Court will be dressed;

*On Tuesday, July 28, crews will continue paving N. 7th and Barringer as well as Vinyard Trace. Soil cement work continues on Willow, E.A. Hoover, Oak, Robert Blow, and Courtney Earl, and dressing is planned on Cassidy and Emerald;

*On Wednesday, July 29, paving continues on N. 7th, Barringer, Vinyard Trace, and Cooper, will crews dress Mooney, 3rd Street, and East Hanson. Soil cement work is scheduled on Bethel Church Road, Gahn, Wainwright, Magnolia, and Hogan;

*On Thursday, July 30, the contractor will pave Vinyard Trace and Cooper while Brandon Court, Brandon Drive, and E. Hanson will be dressed. Soil cement work continues on Bethel Church Road, Gahn, Wainwright, Magnolia, Hogan, and Oscar Starkey;

*On Friday, July 31, soil cement work is scheduled on Beth Church Road, Gahn, Wainwright, Magnolia, Hogan, and Oscar Starkey;

*On Saturday, Aug. 1, crews will pave Professional Plaza.

All work will be posted on the day of construction. Miller said streets that are scheduled for paving and soil cement operations will be closed at the construction site.
