Road Work Update Week of June 22, 2020

TICKFAW—Tangipahoa Parish road crews will close a portion of Antioch Road to replace a cross drain on Thursday, June 25.
 
Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said crews will be working on a section of Antioch Road that is located approximately 1000 feet north of its intersection with LA 442. The roadway will be closed from approximately 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.that day for the construction work. 
Traffic will be detoured north to Black Cat Road during this closure, Miller said.
Miller said the cross drain work is one of many road projects planned for next week. The parish contractor will be working in the area on the following schedule:
 
*On Monday, June 22, crews will be milling Muscarello, 3rd Street, and Hanson Street. Overlay work will proceed on Cassidy, Laiken, and Emerald. Three course crews will apply the final layer on Seals Road, John Colby Road, Rodeo Road, JS Miller, and Wayne Stevens Road;
 
*On Tuesday, June 23, milling work continues on Vinyard Trace and Kelly; crews will be paving Emerald, Hoffman, and Hoffman Court Drive. Three course crews will be working on Hillcrest, Dummyline, C. Populist, New Hope Church, and Flying J Road;
 
*On Wednesday, June 24, milling work continues on Kelly. Overlay crews will be working on Hoffman, Hoffman Court Drive, and Mooney Avenue. Three course work continues on Big Sky, Starry Night, and Morning Star;
 
*On Thursday, June 25, the contractor will dress Watson, Mulberry, and NE Railroad while paving work continues on Mooney Avenue and Maryland Street. Soil cement will be applied on Vinyard Trace and Falcon;
 
*On Friday, June 26, crews will dress Ogden, BT Thomas, and the Arena area. Paving is scheduled on Muscarello, 3rd Street, and Hanson, and soil cement is planned on Professional Plaza and Kelly.
All work will be posted on the day of construction.
