CONFIDENCE:
-
We are confident there will be thunderstorms across the area and that a line of storms will likely continue to develop through the morning and into the afternoon hours. We have less confidence in exactly where that may occur.
-
If and where that happens will be the main key in impacts. A shift of 10-20 miles could make all of the difference.
Impacts:
-
Additional rainfall of 2 to 4 inches with locally higher amounts will be possible now through Wednesday morning
-
Locations, where any band sets up, could experience flash flooding with life-threatening flash flooding possible in areas that receive the most rain
-
Wind gusts greater than 60 mph and hail up to 1" in diameter will be the primary threats
-
An isolated tornado can not be ruled out
The attached briefing below highlights the threats associated with this system.
