Urgent Road Work Update For Today Thursday, May 13, 2021

PONCHATOULA—Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said the parish’s road and bridge crews have closed North 11th Street due to a partial road collapse this morning. 

Miller said crews are on site now, replacing the damaged cross drain. The roadway will be closed approximately 2700 feet from its intersection with Range Road, just beyond the railroad tracks.

No traffic will be allowed in this area during the construction period, Miller said. He indicated crews expect to reopen the roadway around lunchtime today.
