Overview:

WHAT: MARGINAL RISK of Severe Thunderstorms

WHEN:

• The severe weather threat will be greatest from 1pm through 7pm Wednesday.

WHERE: All of SE LA and S MS with the exception of immediate gulf coastal sections of SE LA.

CONFIDENCE: We are confident that there will be thunderstorms across the area Wednesday. We are less confident in the occurrence of severe weather.

Impacts:

• Any storms that do become severe Wednesday will be capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph, hail, and one or two tornadoes.
