AMITE—A portion of Taylor Creek Road will be closed this Thursday for road work.

Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said crews will need to close a portion of Taylor Creek Road at its intersection with North Dummyline Road to replace a cross drain. The work is scheduled for Thursday, August 11, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. During this time, no thru-traffic will be allowed in the construction zone.

Miller said the closure area will be posted.
