Road Work Update For Thursday October 1st

PONCHATOULA—A portion of John Wild Road in Ponchatoula will be closed for approximately four hours on Thursday, Oct. 1, as Tangipahoa Parish Road and Bridge crews complete a cross drain replacement project.

Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said crews will replace a cross drain that is located approximately 2500 feet south of the intersection of John Wild Road and LA 22. 

The closure is scheduled from 8 a.m. until noon on the day of construction. During that time frame, no traffic will be allowed to pass through the construction zone. Detours will be posted, Miller said.
