HAMMOND—A one-span bridge on Carlos Drive has been closed immediately and will remain closed through tomorrow for emergency repairs.

Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said crews will need to close Carlos Drive between Rene Drive and Adelle Drive to complete the emergency bridge repair starting this afternoon and continuing through Wednesday., Detours will be posted, and no traffic will be allowed to enter the area or leave during the construction period.
