HAMMOND—A one-span bridge on Carlos Drive that was closed earlier this week for emergency repairs has been reopened.

Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said crews closed Carlos Drive between Rene Drive and Adelle Drive on Tuesday afternoon to complete the emergency bridge repairs. 

As of today, the repairs are completed, and the route is safe for travel once again, Miller said.
