Road Work Update For Week of August 16, 2021

PONCHATOULA—Overlay crews will be working on Sibley Road off N. Thibodeaux Road this coming week.

Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said crews plan to do cement work on Monday, Aug. 16, through Thursday, Aug. 19, weather permitting. They will address any asphalt patching that may be needed on Friday. 

Crews continue to perform shoulder work on a series of recently completed roads throughout the parish. This week, they plan to continue finishing touches on Brumfield, F Lea, G Lea, B Sanders, Doty, Wyndotte, Robert Vernon, Sandy Hollow, Voight, Glen Alford, J Rowdon, St. Alexander, Arline, and Houltonwood.

Signs will be posted on the day of construction, and Miller reminds motorists to use alternate routes, where possible, due to traffic delays during the construction period.
