PONCHATOULA—Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said striping operations will begin this week on several roadways throughout the parish.

The program, identified as part of the Local Road Safety Project, involves striping, enhancing detail on railroad symbols, and wraps on various highway connectors.

Miller said work is expected to begin this week on Hano, Chappapeela, Turnpike, Loranger Road, South Hoover, Esterbrook, Traino, Weinberger, Adams, and Durbin Roads.

All work is on a weather-permitting basis. Signs will be posted on the day of construction, and Miller reminds motorists to use alternate routes, where possible, due to traffic delays during the striping work.
