TPG Road Work Update For Week of April 5-9, 2021

PONCHATOULA—Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller reminds motorists that the North Hoover Road bridge near LA 22 east of Ponchatoula will be closed starting Monday, April 5, for maintenance work.

From Monday, April 5, through Thursday, April 8, crews will be performing maintenance work on the North Hoover Road bridge, which is located approximately 2,000 feet north of LA 22 in Ponchatoula. That portion of the roadway will be closed all four days, and signs will be posted at the closure site. 

Miller asks the public to make plans to detour accordingly once that work begins.

In other scheduled road construction next week, milling work is scheduled on Pleasant Ridge (April 5); E. Hoffman (April 5-7); Campbell and Ciolino Lanes (April 7-9). Crews will patch Broadwalk and Pleasant Ridge on April 8 and 9, as well.

Looking ahead, Miller announced that Greco Road in the Tickfaw area will be limited to one lane of traffic during the week of April 12-16. Signs will be posted, and motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes if possible.
