In reference to the ongoing Hoover Road/Sisters Road roundabout being constructed in the Ponchatoula area, motorists can expect two single-day road closures on Sisters Road this week. On Wednesday, July 5, crews will install a cross drain on Sisters Road approximately 200 feet west of the Hoover Road/Sisters Road intersection. The work is expected to begin at 6 a.m. and will be completed by 6 p.m. that day. On Thursday, July 6, crews will work on the east side of Sisters Road at a site located approximately 300 feet east of the intersection with Hoover Road. That cross drain project is also expected to be completed between the hours of 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

All work is weather-permitting. Miller asks motorists to continue to use caution in work zones.
