Overview:

TS Cristobal is becoming slightly better organized with stronger storms developing on its east and southeast sides. However, it is expected to make landfall in the next few hours, so no strengthening is anticipated.

Impacts from TS Cristobal will continue through tonight and into Monday
Impacts:

Several rounds of heavy rainfall are possible. Flash flooding will be possible - especially where any rain bands result in prolonged periods of heavy rainfall. Dangerous, life-threatening flash flooding will be possible across the high risk area depending on the development of a persistent rain band as Cristobal moves inland.

Coastal flooding is occurring along open shorelines. The following inundation depths are occurring or forecast: 3-5 ft from the mouth of the MS River to Ocean Springs 2-4 ft from Morgan City to the mouth of the MS River 1-3 ft from Ocean Springs to the MS/AL border and around the shores of Lakes Pontchartrain and Maurepas

Tropical storm force winds, especially in squalls, will affect portions of of SE LA and SW and Coastal MS.
