OVERVIEW: WHAT: MARGINAL RISK to SLIGHT RISK of excessive rainfall

WHEN:  Now through tonight. Most activity will be afternoon and evening today.

WHERE:  Most areas except portions of counties and parishes along the gulf coast

CONFIDENCE:

• We have high confidence there will be scattered to numerous thunderstorms through tonight, but moderate confidence there will flooding with these thunderstorms

Impacts:

• Rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches with localized higher amounts possible through tonight. Rainfall rates could be around 2" per hour with some of this activity.
