After some weather-related delays, the Wardline Road construction project starts gearing up again starting Monday, Jan. 14, and Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller reminds motorists to use care in that area.

Miller said that as early as 7:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 14, intermittent lane closures can be expected as construction crews begin the next phase of work on Wardline Road.

While the road will not be closed during this period, heavy equipment will be on and off the road at different times, and Miller said that will likely result in minor traffic delays.

The Florida Parishes' Human Services Authority Developmental Disabilities Services is hosting an employment fair and needs your help! Please consider having a booth at our upcoming Hammond fair in February.

This is a notification from Tangipahoa Water District to inform you that the Boil Water Advisory for the surrounding areas beginning at: HWY 440, including Sumner High and Sumner Elementary, south on HWY 1054, including HWY 1054 to HWY 1058 at Chesbrough Elementary, and Schexnayder Ln., has been rescinded. Rufus Bankston Rd., from Hwy 1064 South to W. Kohnke Hill Rd., including Northwood Dr., Northwood Crossing and Wistera Dr., that was caused by a line break.

The surrounding areas beginning at HWY 440, including Sumner High and Sumner Elementary, going South on HWY 1054, including HWY 1054 to HWY 1058 at Chesbrough Elementary, and also including Schexnayder Ln, caused by a line break.
