BAPTIST—While the sun is shining, road crews are working to catch up on a series of projects that have been delayed due to rain.

Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said Phase 22 road overlay projects and the RPC infrastructure work has been delayed by heavy rains experienced across the parish over the last several weeks.

The tropics are becoming more active and NHC is now monitoring four different areas for development. Three of them, including the disturbance in the Caribbean, have a low (20% or less) chance of developing in the next five days.
