Overview:

There are coastal flood advisories and warnings currently in effect for the coastal areas of southeast Louisiana and Hancock County, MS through 6 PM this evening.

Confidence:

• We are confident that coastal flooding will persist through this evening.

Impacts:

• Inundation of 2 to 4 feet above ground level on east and south facing shores in areas where the coastal flood warnings are in effect.

• Low lying coastal roads and non-elevated structures could be flooded due to the tidal flooding.
