WHAT: MARGINAL RISK of Severe Weather

WHEN: Mainly this afternoon and evening

WHERE: Much of south Mississippi and all of southeast Louisiana (see graphic)

CONFIDENCE:

• We are confident that there will be scattered thunderstorms across the area with moderate confidence that a few will be strong to severe. 

IMPACTS:

The main threats associated with any severe storms will be:

• Wind gusts greater than 60 mph will be possible

• Large hail 1+ inches in diameter will be possible
