Here is an update concerning the potential for tropical cyclone development in the western Caribbean.
Changes from previous update:
Overview:
There is a HIGH (90%) chance of tropical cyclone development over the next 2 days.

This system is forecast to slowly move to the northwest across the western Caribbean into the southeastern Gulf of Mexico by Tuesday.

A tropical depression is expected to form within the next day or so.

It is uncertain if this will bring any impacts to the north-central Gulf at this time.
