AMITE---Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller announced the following road work, weather permitting:

*On Friday, April 3, sign crews will working on N.W. Railroad Avenue, N. Oak Street and West Dakota;

*On Monday, April 6, crews will be patching N.W. Railroad Avenue;

*On Tuesday, April 7, crews will be patching N. Oak Street;

*On Wednesday, April 8, crews will patch West Dakota;

*On Thursday, April 9, crews will do milling work on N.W. Railroad Avenue;

*On Friday, April 10, crews will be milling N. Oak Street.

All road work will be posted during the day of construction.

Notice is hearby given that the Tangipahoa Parish Planning Commission scheduled for Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at 5:30p.m. at the Tangipahoa Parish Government Building located at 15485 West Club Deluxe Road, Hammond, La has been CANCELLED due to COVID-19 and the Governor’s Stay Home Order .

At this time the May 5th Planning Commission Meeting is still scheduled until further notice.

PONCHATOULA—Road crews will apply traffic striping to a portion of Sisters Road on Thursday, March 26.

Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said crews will not need to close the roadway; however, the work will cause delays for motorists on that route.

Miller said the striping work should be completed same-day, weather permitting.
