Tangipahoa Parish Government will hold a public meeting related to a proposed application of 2019-20 Louisiana Community Development Block Grant (LCDBG) grant funds for Tangipahoa Parish. The public is encouraged and invited to attend and provided input, particularly low to moderate income persons. The public meeting for input will be held at 5:30 pm on Monday, April 22, 2019 in the Parish Courthouse Annex (the Parish Council Offices) at 206 E. Mulberry Street in Amite. The purpose of this meeting is to obtain public views on the housing, community, infrastructure, and economic development needs of Tangipahoa Parish, and the submission of applications for funding under the State of Louisiana CDBG Program. Purpose: to tie in a line.

Bacteriological samples will be collected and delivered to the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals lab for analysis.
While awaiting sample result the  BOIL WATER ADVISORY will remain in effect until further notice.
We anticipate sample results should be available to us at a later date, at which time all customers will be notified.
Tangipahoa Water District will notify each of you as soon as results are available.

Please read the attached Boil Advisory for proper instruction to boiling water for safe consumption during this time.
