Weather permitting, the entrance to Pecan Grove Subdivision will be closed for approximately six hours on Thursday, Aug. 20, as Tangipahoa Parish Road and Bridge crews complete a cross drain replacement project there. Palmetto Street) in Amite will be closed today (Wed., Aug. 12) for emergency repairs. Miller said a contractor will be removing trees that are uprooting the roadway.
