HAMMOND—Tangipahoa residents who have suffered roof damage from Hurricane Ida can now sign up for Operation Blue Roof, Parish President Robby Miller said.

A priority mission managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Operation Blue Roof provides homeowners in disaster areas with fiber-reinforced sheeting to cover their damaged roofs until permanent repairs can be made.

Tangipahoa Parish is beginning its recovery process in the wake of Hurricane Ida, and Parish President Robby Miller says now is the time for residents to begin placing storm-generated debris on the public right-of-ways.

HAMMOND—The Tangipahoa Water District has issued a boil water advisory for two of their service areas.

The impacted areas include:

*West of I-55 from LA 40 south;

*Club Deluxe and Veterans Boulevard from I-12 to LA 22[...]
